Youth Dance Company

True Impact Youth Dance Company hosts two story ballets annually. By offering the story ballet experience to our students, we’re creating well-rounded students who understand that dance stems from a “process,” rather than a fast route to a “product.” Lessons that are learned in the classroom and on the concert stage will prepare a student for life, regardless of what career path they choose to follow as adults.

Appalachian Belles

True Impact’s Appalachain Belles is a precision kick-line program for students aged 7 and above. Dancers will  learn fun and motivating “Rockette” style holiday choreography in which they will perform at community functions such as parades, fairs, and more!

Christmas in Narnia

Christmas in Narnia is held each December at Marshall University’s Joan C. Edwards Performing Arts Center. This holiday performance, based on C.S. Lewis’s famed children’s novel “The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe”, is performed by True Impact’s Youth Ballet Company. Large group routines and lead roles are selected by audition during the summer months. Young children may participate in Christmas in Narnia by registering for a ballet class marked “production”. Christmas in Narnia has become a beloved community event for many families. It’s Christ focused storyline keeps our hearts centered on the true meaning of Christmas while allowing local dance students to experience a high-quality ballet production performance. Christmas in Narnia has two showings each year including a performance exclusive to area school children and a community showing that is open to the public. Tickets will go on sale each November.

True Impact Arts Foundation is licensed by The Lewis Foundation to perform works based on C.S Lewis’s The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe.
